Poetic Rant

You say I don't understand, that I'm the one with the problem. But you're the one who doesn't hear. I heard what you said, I'm just answering in my own way. Say what you will, without the fuss, the drawn-out explanations and un-necessary add-ons. Don't get worked up, just take it slow, ask me a question and I'll tell you what I know. Don't give a box to hide myself in, or tell me the way I think is autistic! It's just a learning condition that makes me apart of a growing statistic! The way you see the world is different to everyone you know. Are you autistic? If somebody says something in a way you don't comprehend - does that make you slow?

Poems By Me, Myself & I

Hi Everyone! Here are some poems I wrote last year. I write about real emotions, real experiences -  I'm kinda Taylor-Swifty like that! When I was younger everything felt more intense and I guess that's because I found it hard to express the way I really feel about stuff verbally, so writing stuff down has always been a way for me to stretch my creative muscles and get out the ugly stuff in my mind in a way that is beautiful. But I encourage that you learn to say what you really think now without the pen, because it's harder to learn with the tongue. - Sarah xo Chasing Rainbows Right after it rains, I spend my days chasing rainbows, up and down fields of gold. The day I get somewhere will be the day I do what I'm told. Even after all this time, I can't leave those rainbows alone. If you're looking for me, I'm chasing outside chasing rainbows beneath grey skies. Untitled Everything in this place echoes like dynamite against sacred stone. I

Speak For Yourself

Speak For Yourself If I ever have a daughter, there one thing I want her to know - and that is don't play the fool. Don't be too nice either, laughing it off and saying "It's all cool". Don't sit there quiet and sweet because people expect it of you. Speak for yourself, honey. Don't let somebody else say your words for you! Say sorry when you do wrong and no other time, regardless of what is said and done everybody believes they're in the right. You're not wrong because you're young, but if you act like you don't have a clue - they'll listen to anyone who isn't you. Speak for yourself. They don't see what you see, they say only what they know.  - By S.J Elizabeth

Hello, 2016!

LIFE Happy New Year! 2015 was a dart-board, full of spot-ons and misses; whereas some darts went off-target; in the wall, on the floor or in the foot.  Now that I have my hypothetical darts back in my hand, it is time to make some simple plans for 2016! I have a few things that I really want to achieve in 2016. 1. Spiritual Last year my catch-phrase was Seeds of Hope.  This year God put these two words on my heart: Do More. 2. Personal Become more assertive. Work hard, play harder. 3. Family Encourage and support. 4. Health Lose ten kilos. (And keep it off) 5. Finances Save, Invest, Repeat. LOVE The New Year always brings in a tide of excitement, hope and uncertainty of what is to come. But one thing is for sure, we won't be packing our bags any time soon. So our anchors are going to be moored here for quite a little while. And then, fingers, eyes, legs and toes crossed - A. and I will embark on an overseas odyssey or an interstate squirrel trip. Then
